Electrocatalysis for Sustainable Energy
In-situ Analysis of Electrochemical Interfaces
Mixed Metal Oxide (MMO) Synthesis
Simulation Study for Material Design
Concerns about climate change and environmental contamination have led to the development of state-of-the-art technologies for carbon-neutral energy cycles. Our lab is interested in facilitating key electrochemical reactions for solving the environmental issues, e.g., hydrogen evolution, chlorine evolution, carbon dioxide reduction, nitrogen reduction and organic oxidation, based on nanomaterial chemistry, electrochemistry, analytical chemistry and computational chemistry, which are critical in realizing sustainable energy future.
1. A master or bachelor degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related fields.
2. High motivation, willingness to work in a team, curiosity, and passion about research.
3. Good communication in English and/or Korean (Not mandatory to have English or Korean language proficiency such as TOEFL, IELTS, and TOEIC or TOPIK).
Interested applicants should submit the following documents in English to Andi Haryanto via email (andih@kookmin.ac.kr):
1. Curriculum Vitae (CV) describing your introduction, research interest, and experiences.
Applicants will be undergoing several preliminary interviews (separated from Kookmin University application step).
Applicants will be notified of the next step once the applicants passed the prior step.
Successful applicants will also be required to apply to the Kookmin University Graduate School and will be guided by our lab member.
