About

The Human-Centered Design Lab (HCDL) at the Department of Industrial & Management Systems Engineering, College of Engineering, Kyung Hee University – Global Campus is looking for applications for M.S., Ph.D., and M.S.-Ph.D. Integrated/Combined positions for the Fall Semester (September 2026) intake.

We focus on Human-Computer Interaction, User Interface Design and Evaluation, Affective Engineering, and User Modeling, with additional work spanning ergonomics, human factors, safety, physiological signals, and user experience analysis.

Requirements

- Preferred background:

Industrial Engineering / Industrial & Management Systems Engineering
Human-Computer Interaction
User Experience / Human Factors / Ergonomics
Psychology or Cognitive Science
Computer Science / Data Analysis
Design, interaction design, or related interdisciplinary fields

- Priority for Indonesian applicants with related backgrounds
- Bachelor's or Master's degree required
- Statistical and data analysis experience required
- English proficiency: IELTS 6.0+ / TOEFL iBT 80+ / TEPS 326+
- Strong research background (preferred)
- Laboratory experience (preferred)
- Scientific writing experience in English (preferred)
