About

The Mechanobiology & Matrix Engineering Laboratory (MMEL) at the Soonchunhyang Institute of Medi-bio Science (SIMS), Soonchunhyang University is recruiting Ph.D. and integrated M.S./Ph.D. students for a Fall 2026 start. Research investigates how mechanical forces and the extracellular matrix (ECM) regulate cell behavior in health and disease, integrating engineering, biology, and medicine to develop next-generation regenerative therapies and disease models.

Requirements

Open to both domestic and international applicants. Seeking highly motivated students with an interest in mechanobiology, biomaterials, stem cell engineering, and regenerative medicine.
